Badminton courts

The National Indoor Arena (The NIA) is one of the busiest large scale indoor sporting and entertainment venues in Europe.  Since opening in 1991, it has welcomed visitors to over 30 different sports and an extensive variety of entertainment and music.

The NIA has hosted the YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships since 1994 when it moved from Wembley Arena in London and since then it has experienced wins and losses from many of the badminton greats in this current era.

The venue still continues to showcase badminton at its best in an extremely accessible city.
