Media accreditation is now open for the 2019 YONEX All England – Badminton’s Greatest Show on the HSBC BWF World Tour.


Wowing fans and championing legends since 1899, the 109th edition of the world famous Championships - the oldest and most prestigious in world badminton- will be staged 6-10 March 2019 at Arena Birmingham.

To complete and successfully submit your application you may require:

  • Passport size photo to upload online*   (required on all applications)
  • Professional qualification ID (AIPS number)
  • Publication or agency commission details
  • Editor details

Media accreditation is required if you intend to:

  • Access the mixed zone (player interviews)
  • Photography
  • TV broadcast
  • Report on the Championships online, in print, vlog

Accreditation is limited to 100 media professionals, including reporters, journalists and TV crew. This will be fulfiled on a tiered priority basis.
Acceptances will be issued on as reviewed ahead of the deadline on 15 February 2019.

Please do not book accomodation or travel until your application has been accepted in writing. We are able to assist with letterhead confirmation to support visa applications if required.

Player Interviews

Interviews and filiming opportunities with English players can be arranged by contacting media@badmintonengland.co.uk
It is not possible for the media team to arrange interviews with overseas players outside of Championships week.
